Dr. Baker began work with Technology Associates after graduating with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in 2007. His thesis dealt with computer simulation of gaseous phenomena at microscopic length scales. He also received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, and conducted postdoctoral research at the same institution. Since joining Technology Associates, he has investigated and analyzed hundreds of accidents, utilizing his skills in mechanical and biomechanical analysis and accident reconstruction. He remains involved in scientific research and publication, with recent work in both human factors and engineering safety.
Dr. Baker is a Licensed Professional Engineer (Connecticut) and is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES).
